this is just a collection of cool stuff I've found over the course of learning html and trying to improve my art. I hope that any of this helps at least one person!
the code I used to make the little box of "my things" on my about page is available to download here, its very easy to put into your own site!
LIGHTBOX JAVASCRIPTThe code I used to make the images load the way they do in my art gallery. It's admittedly pretty tricky, I mostly got it to work by taking the example .html file in the .zip file and taking it apart until I could figure out what did what and editing it from there, but the results are really cool.
FLEXBOX FROGGYmakes learning flex box a lot easier, I still go back and refer to what I finished of this to figure out what I need specifically on occasion.
CSS ANIMATIONSPretty much all my css animations were made using this. makes it SO much easier to add those fun animations to stuff!
STATUS.CAFE RSS FEEDIf you're like me, your site is too new to host the origninal status.cafe widget. Fortunately, theres a workaround! This is a tutorial on how to do that.
BLINKIE.WIKIa fuck ton of blinkies and other graphics, can be searched through with filters
LINE-OF-ACTIONIf you're an artist, you're probably already familiar with this site, but I include it anyways because it is good. Site designed to help practice anatomy and gestures.
PROKO TIMERSimilar to above, but different picture sets. Useful if you've exhausted line of action.
POSE MANIACSLots of pose references on 3d models. models can be viewed on any angle and show muscle structures. I used this to help learn muscle groups, personally.
CEL SHADING TUTORIALIf you're wondering about my colouring process, its pretty much exactly this method, the tutorial can explain it far better for you than I could for sure.
